The 2nd SARA Bootcamp brings together researchers, students, and academics for three days of intensive, practical learning on how to write, format, and publish research using Quarto and R - two of the most powerful open-source tools in modern research communication.
SARA believes research produced by and about marginalized communities must be heard. This bootcamp equips you with the tools to publish that research professionally, reproducibly, and beautifully.

Quarto is a next-generation open-source scientific publishing system. Write in Markdown, embed R or Python code, and publish as PDF, HTML, Word, or a full website β all from one document.

Researchers, PhD scholars, postgraduates, faculty, NGO professionals, journalists, and anyone who wants to write and publish evidence-based work. No prior coding experience needed for beginnersβ track.

Refund Policy
1. Cancellation by Participant
- 15+ Days Before Start Date:
- 100% Refund: Full refund of fees paid.
- 100% Refund: Full refund of fees paid.
- 7β14 Days Before Start Date:
- 50% Refund: Half of the fees paid.
- 50% Refund: Half of the fees paid.
- Less Than 7 Days Before Start Date:
- No Refund: Fees are non-refundable.
Process:
- Submit a refund request via email to sara.institute.info@gmail.com with:
- Participant name
- Transaction details (payment ID, date)
- Participant name
- Refunds processed within 7β10 business days via original payment method.
2. Scholarship Recipients
- Scholarship seats are non-refundable.
- If unable to attend, notify SARA at least 7 days prior to free the seat for another candidate.
3. Cancellation by SARA
- If SARA cancels/reschedules the event:
- 100% Refund: Full refund for all paid participants.
- Option to Transfer: Join the next cohort at no extra cost.
- 100% Refund: Full refund for all paid participants.
4. Special Cases
- Medical Emergencies: Submit a doctorβs certificate for refund consideration (partial/full, case-by-case basis).
- Partial Attendance: No refunds for days attended.
5. Non-Refundable Components
- Administrative Fees: βΉ500 (deducted from all refunds).
